Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Corsicano is an organic extra virgin olive oil obtained from olive trees grown on my estate. The native Ogliarola variety attests to the presence of centuries-old trees. Additionally, younger Rotondella and Frantoio trees play a part in producing Corsicano oil. The olives are handpicked while still green, at the beginning of ripening, preserving excellent sensory and organoleptic characteristics.

The olive processing at the mill is carried out immediately after harvesting, on the same day, using an integrated system with cold extraction of the oil.

Corsicano is a medium-fruity olive oil with a balanced taste of almond, artichoke, and freshly mown grass.

Our oil is rich in antioxidant compounds (polyphenols and vitamin E), essential for our health and maintaining a balanced diet.

Because we care about our health, our olive groves are grown organically. We do not use synthetic fertilizers or insecticides, safeguarding the ecosystem and completely eliminating the presence of pesticide residues in our oil.
To increase the antioxidant content, the olives are processed in the mill using modern cold extraction techniques. By doing so, we minimize oil oxidation during extraction and preserve its beneficial properties.
