Cilento Aglianico – Denominazione di Origine Controllata

Patrinus is made from Aglianico grapes, blended minimally with Primitivo grapes entirely produced in the company’s vineyards.

The intense structure of Aglianico and the balance of Primitivo make it a harmonious and refined wine, with aromas of small red fruits, blackberry, raspberry, and cherry. On the palate, it is soft and mouth filling, expressing hints of licorice with a finish dominated by cherry jam.

Dedicated to someone very dear to me, my godfather, a guiding and visionary figure in my journey as a winemaker.

WINE VARIETY: Aglianico 95% – Primitivo 5%

VINEYARD AREA: 1.3 hectares

EXPOSURE: South/West

TRAINING SYSTEM AND DENSITY: Trellis with Guyot pruning – 4,500 vines per hectare

HARVEST: Starting from the second decade of September

YIELD: 55 quintals/hectare – 1 kg per plant

VINIFICATION: Red vinification at 25°C for about 10 days

AGING: Stainless steel tanks for approximately 8 months
